Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated August 2026

Draft pending legal review. This document has not been reviewed by counsel and must not be relied on until it has been.

Short version: you can cancel any time in one click, we do not use retention friction, and if something went wrong we would rather fix it than have you fight your bank about it.

1Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.

There is no cancellation flow designed to slow you down — no phone call, no email required, no retention offers you have to click past. If cancelling ever takes more than a few seconds, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.

2Refunds

Content sales are generally final once the content has been accessed, because access cannot be returned. Within that, three things always apply:

  • Unused access. If you were charged and did not access any paid content in that billing period, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it.
  • Accidental and duplicate charges. Refunded in full, always. This includes a renewal you did not intend and had not used.
  • Our failure. If content you paid for was not delivered, was delivered after it was useful, or the service was unavailable when it mattered, that is on us and we refund it.

3What is not refundable

Losing money is not grounds for a refund. You are paying for access to analysis, not for a profitable outcome, and no outcome is promised at any point. A prediction that did not come in was still delivered.

We say this plainly rather than burying it, because the alternative is people buying under a misunderstanding — which is worse for them and worse for us.

4Service credits

Where a refund is not owed but a situation is genuinely unsatisfying, we may offer account credit instead. Credit is discretionary, has no cash value, and expires if your account closes.

5Before you contact your bank

If you believe you were charged wrongly, please contact us first. We will respond quickly, and if we got it wrong we will fix it — usually faster than a card dispute would.

A chargeback filed without contacting us first may result in your account being suspended, and where a dispute is filed in bad faith over content that was delivered and accessed, we may treat that as fraud and act accordingly.

We log delivery and access with timestamps, so a dispute is usually a factual question rather than a judgement call. That record is available to you as well as to us.

6If you sell on SharpRoster

Where a refund or chargeback relates to your content, the amount may be deducted from your balance or future payouts. Payouts are subject to a rolling delay, and we may hold or reserve funds where a pattern of disputes, suspected fraud, or unusual activity creates exposure for us or our payment providers.

We will tell you when we do this and why. Full terms for sellers live in the Creator Agreement.
