Responsible Gaming

SharpRoster is not a sportsbook. You cannot bet here, we hold no funds, and we make no money when you win or lose. But we publish analysis used in connection with gambling, and pretending that carries no responsibility would be dishonest.

These are product commitments. The current public-record product follows them today; creator, live-alert, and paid features must meet the same standard before they launch.

• No streaks or daily rewards. Nothing here gives you a reason to open the app today specifically. Engagement mechanics that pressure daily action are actively harmful in a product adjacent to gambling.
• No loss-chasing messages. We will never notify you about a losing run, and we will never construct urgency around a purchase. The moment someone is down is the moment they are most vulnerable to being sold something.
• Nothing celebrates. No confetti, no animation on a win, no hot badges. Losses render at the same visual weight as wins, everywhere.
• No prize contests or gambling mechanics. No competition on SharpRoster awards money or anything of material value. We do not build streaks, leaderboards for user wagering, or real-money games that encourage repeated play.
• No financing for betting advice. SharpRoster will not offer BNPL, loans, or other credit products that encourage someone to borrow to buy picks or betting analysis.
• No paid ranking or hidden promotion. Ranking cannot be purchased. If SharpRoster or a creator has a financial, affiliate, employment, or other material connection to a business mentioned in promotional content, that connection must be disclosed where the content appears.
• No selective records. A seller cannot erase settled losses, publish only winning selections, or present a partial history as a complete record. Where coverage is partial, we label it.
• No earnings or certainty claims. Nobody publishing here may promise profit, guaranteed wins, “locks,” risk-free results, or specific earnings. Violations may result in content removal, loss of selling access, or account suspension.

A strong record means someone has performed well over the sample we hold, measured consistently against others. It is not a prediction, and following someone with a good record does not make you likely to profit.

Records regress. Edges disappear. A past result is not a forecast, and no ranking tells you whether a wager is suitable for you. Where applicable, SharpRoster shows the source, time window, sample size, and coverage behind a metric; we withhold or qualify numbers that the available evidence cannot support.

These can be signs that gambling is causing harm, regardless of whether you are up or down:

• betting more than you planned, or more than you can afford to lose;
• chasing losses, or increasing stakes to get back to even;
• borrowing to bet, or using money meant for rent, bills, food, or family;
• hiding how much you bet from people close to you;
• feeling restless, anxious or irritable when you are not betting;
• continuing despite damage to your relationships, work, or finances.

If you want out, use the account-closure controls when they are available. If those controls are unavailable, email hello@sharproster.com to request closure and marketing suppression. We will not send win-back offers, and we will not ask you to reconsider.

If you tell us you have a gambling problem, we will not market to you again, and we will honour that even if you later ask us to.

SharpRoster is for adults only — 18+, or 21+ where local law requires it. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly permit accounts for anyone underage. If you believe a minor has accessed the service, tell us and we will close the account.
